About The Employer

Our client is a privately owned Content Management Software company with an API to some of the largest global ERP software companies. They’re very well established with a UK, European and APAC client base of largely SME and Mid-Market customers buying their 2 core products. As part of their 3 and 10 year plans to 3X and then 10X their revenue across these territories, as part of this growth they will launch new products and also launch into North America. They are looking to make 2 senior leadership hires who will report directly to the Board of Directors. The VP of Sales is one of these hires.

About The Role

As the VP of Sales you will be ultimately response for all new business and account management across the UK and Europe with indirect responsibility for APAC and a remit to grow into North America. You will inherit a small team, and immediately have budget and requirement to start hiring your sales team. You will be involved and lead on the sales strategy, and be a visionary thinker. The VP of Sales can expect a basic salary of up to £150k with an uncapped bonus package, and a benefits package in line with this level of hire.

The Necessary Requirements

You will need to be based within an hour of the M25 as this role will require you to be office based ideally 3 days a week. You will need to have proven direct experience within CRM / Document / Content / Productivity management software, and ideally a working knowledge of NetSuite too although this isn’t essential. You must have a proven background of taking a company from £10m ARR and then growing the business by at least 3X. It goes without saying that the VP of Sales will be a recognised new business hunter who leads from the front, and can showcase various sales methodologies as part of their experience.
