Our client is a dynamic UK-based software start-up that has developed an innovative AI data science platform for retailers. This cutting-edge solution empowers retailers to make swift, data-driven decisions at scale by leveraging sophisticated analytics. Founded five years ago by a team of seasoned data science and machine learning experts with deep retail industry knowledge, the company has since expanded to a team of over 20. Having successfully brought the platform to market, they are now poised for exponential growth and seeking a Head of Customer Growth to help maximize the return with their current clients (and soon-to-be clients). Their proprietary technology seamlessly integrates with industry-leading platforms like Snowflake and AWS, enabling retailers to gain a competitive edge through rapid, consumer-centric decision-making.

About The Role

This is a pivotal role within the business, focused on developing and leveraging existing accounts within the UK's largest retail landscape. The ideal candidate will be an experienced (commercially focused) Account Manager/Director with a track record of success in growing enterprise accounts. You will be responsible for growing NRR, cross-selling & up-selling, whilst also running and leading QBRs with Exec Teams which is why the role demands the ability to build strong relationships with C-level executives across marketing, merchandising, pricing, and supply chain functions. You will need to be in their Leeds-based office once a week. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth start-up at an inflection point. The successful Head of Customer Growth can expect a base salary of £80-£90k, plus an extra OTE of £30k just for hitting targets, and equity. The £30k OTE is expected to at least triple by year 3, once the accounts have grown substantially.

The Necessary Requirements

To excel in this role, you will possess a strong foundation in either SaaS Account Management OR Enterprise Retail Account Management. You will be a commercially minded individual who is an expert in technical delivery. Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, start-up environment is highly desirable although not essential. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of thriving in a dynamic and challenging environment.
